Clean insulation from both sides of twin lead at top for a distance of 1 1/2 inches. Fold one wire over and solder to the wire on the opposite side. 62 1/2 in. is the final length of the antenna. START LONGER!

START HERE !

The location of the cut-out section determines the locations of everything else. Measure everything from the cut-out section. Start a couple of inches longer at each end.

Carefully cut out 3/4 in. of insulation and wire. Cut from a section of solid twin lead to keep the antenna stronger.



Clean away enough insulation material to solder the coax leads. Coax shield is solder to the same side as the 3/4 in cut-out above. Coax center is soldered to the other side.
